Sozo FAQ

What does a Bethel Sozo look like?

A Sozo session is framed with the Father Ladder or the Four Doors. Sozo sessions will contain elements of the Bethel Sozo tools: Father Ladder, Four Doors, the Wall, and Presenting Jesus. Other tools may be used but not dominate the sozo ministry time.

Your Sozo will be facilitated by a trained Sozo minister who will lead you through the process with the help of Holy Spirit. You will hear from Father God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit during your session. While the Sozo minister may prophesy or pray over you during the session, their primary goal is for you to be connected to the Godhead.

When is a sozo/deliverance finished?

Sozo is complete when you discern that the “strong man” has been defeated, or when the client or minister feels that it is finished. Occasionally, a follow-up session may be scheduled.

Why a suggested donation?

We find that people tend to value what they invest in. When a donation of any amount is given, it’s a signal to their spirit that this is something of value.

Furthermore, the Sozo staff are independent contractors, not Summit Church staff. The team member leading your Sozo will receive part of your donation, and part will be seeded into our Sozo ministry for team building, training, etc.

No donation is every required. We only want you to do what Holy Spirit tells you to do. But be conscious of not bowing to a spirit of entitlement. Pray about what you should give, and release a spirit of generosity over the ministry and church.

Can one Sozo session actually heal a lie that has been believed for many years?

Yes. Once the Lord heals the first time the lie settled into your spirit, any life experiences based on this lie will realign to His truth.
